J. Kael Weston a former U.S. State Department Official, spent seven years working in Afghanistan and Iraq at the height of combat and traveled among Iraqis, Afghans, diplomats and U.S. Marines. In The Mirror Test: America at War in Iraq and Afghanistan, he draws on Iraqi, Afghani and American voices to reflect on modern war, diplomacy and our nation's efforts to come to terms with the consequences of both wars.
