Mint Theater Packs Four Teresa Deevy Plays Into One Show

The Leonard Lopate Show | Aug 15, 2017

Jonathan Bank, the Mint Theater Company’s producing artistic director, joins us to discuss directing a collection of four Teresa Deevy plays presented as, “The Suitcase Under the Bed.” This set of pieces from the early 20th century playwright explore the theme of marriage and include one wedding, three marriage proposals and two break-ups. The program is part of the company's Teresa Deevy Project, which seeks to re-introduce the world to her lost work.

"The Suitcase Under The Bed" plays through Sept. 30 at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Ave.).
