Service Restored, Major Delays Expected on LIRR

Limited westbound service is restored on the Long Island Railroad after a stalled equipment train caused service to be suspended in both directions.

The MTA says commuters can expected delays and cancellations during the morning rush. 

Port Washington branch service is not affected.

NYC Transit is cross-honoring LIRR tickets at Penn Station, Jamaica, Atlantic Terminal and Hunterspoint Avenue. Updates on service can be found here.
