The Leonard Lopate Show | Nov 15, 2017

Playwright David Henry Hwang joins us for the first Broadway revival of his Tony Award-winning play, "M. Butterfly," directed by Tony-winning Julie Taymor. The play explores the scandalous romance between a married French diplomat and a mysterious Chinese opera singer, and changes their understanding of what it means to love.

"M. Butterfly" is playing at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between 6th and 7th Ave.) through Feb. 25.
