Director and producer Richard Wormser discusses his film “American Reds,” a documentary that tells the story of the American Communist Party between 1930 and 1960. During that period, more than one million men and women joined the Party, many of them with the vision of creating a peaceful and just society. Wormser interviews prominent Party members and chronicles how their vision went awry.
