Adjusting To Life As An Eviction-Mover

The Leonard Lopate Show | Jul 11, 2017

Joshua Cohen joins us to discuss his latest novel Moving Kings. It tells the story of Yoav and Uri, 21-year-old veterans of the last Gaza War, who move to New York City to work for Yoav’s cousin David King, who owns a successful moving company. But, Yoav and Uri struggle to assimilate with their new lives, especially in their work as eviction-movers in the outer boroughs.

Joshua Cohen will appear in conversation with Alana Newhouse at The Strand (828 Broadway, at 12th St.) on July 12 at 7 p.m.
