Know Your Rights, Subway Platform Performers!

A video of a guitarist on a subway platform being arrested by a police officer is making the rounds on social media (it has over 820,000 hits as of this morning!). Matthew Christian, co-founder of the street performer advocacy group BUSK-NY, explains why the officer was wrong to demand a permit and offers advice to platform performers on how to stay in line with the law.
