Editors from four college newspapers question Joseph Glass, Socialist Party Candidate for US Senator from New York. Panel includes Jack Freeman of the Fordham College Ram, Estelle Segal of the Brooklyn College Kingsman, Erwin Chafkin of the New York University Washington Square College Bulletin, and Martin Deutsch of the City College Observation Post. Topics include Norman Thomas, Darlington Hoops, differences between the Socialist Party of America and the Socialist Labor Party, unemployment insurance, communism, the Korean War, disarmament, and Taft-Hartley and Wagner Acts. He calls Senator McCarthy an "unspeakable person," a liar, and "capable of doing all of the worst things that can be done under the guise of exercising his democratic rights," and says he can't express his full contempt for the man because they are broadcasting.
