The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra @ The Rose Theatre

This weekend, hop in your "Tin Lizzie" and transport yourself back to the Roaring Twenties at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The evening is named The Jazz Age: Untamed Elegance and promises to show both the wild and sophisticated sides of the 1920s. Saxophonist and expert on early jazz Victor Goines will lead the Jazz at Lincoln Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis through compositions by Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson, Jelly Roll Morton, and a new one by Goines himself. Friday and Saturday, October 28th and 29th at 8:00 PM with free pre-concert discussions starting at 7:00 PM
