In 1972, President Nixon ordered John Lennon to be deported, his administration claiming that Lennon was in the country illegally. Leon Wildes, a NYC-based immigration attorney, details this historic case and John Lennon and Yoko Ono's fight to remain in the U.S., in his book, John Lennon vs. The U.S.A.: The Inside Story of the Most Bitterly Contested and Influential Deportation Case in United States History.He's joined in the conversation by his son, Michael Wildes, Managing Partner at Wildes & Weinberg, P.C. 

Event: The official book launch for John Lennon vs. The U.S.A. will be on September 7th at Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University (55 Fifth Avenue).
