Great segment.

Re Kubrick's "Lolita," the brilliant scene in which Mason's Humbert reacts to Charlotte Haze's letter makes up for any of its shortcomings.

And speaking of movies, the less said about "The Luzhin Defence" (2000) the better. Without the the major theme of Luzhin's being played like a pawn by family ghosts it was just dull.
