Jill Eisenstadt's First Novel In 25 Years, 'Swell'

Jill Eisenstadt discusses her first new novel in 25 years, Swell. It tells the story of Sue Glassman, who along with her husband and two daughters, moves into a haunted beachfront house in Rockaway, Queens. Things take a turn for the worse when the house’s former resident, a 90-year-old woman who committed murder there, shows up, determined to move back into the house. 

Jill Eisenstadt will appear at the Books Beneath the Bridge Reading Series (Granite Prospect in Brooklyn Bridge Park) on Monday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. Community Bookstore will be selling books.
