'Waitress' Serves Up Pies with a Side of Romance

Jessie Mueller stars in the Tony-nominated Broadway musical, “Waitress,” now playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theater (256 West 47th Street, between Broadway and 8th Ave.). Mueller stars as Jenna, a waitress and talented pie-maker who’s working at a diner. She’s trapped in an abusive and loveless marriage, but dreams of a better life when she meets the new town doctor at a pie-baking contest.
