Actor Jeffrey Tambor joins us to discuss his new book, Are You Anybody?: A Memoir. He recalls growing up in San Francisco with a depressive father, who would become the inspiration for some of his most well-known characters like Hank Kingsley and George Bluth. He also discusses how comedian Gary Shandling, creator of "The Larry Sanders Show," Mitch Hurwitz of "Arrested Development" and Jill Soloway of "Transparent" helped him become a better actor.

Jeffrey Tambor will appear in conversation with Judith Light on May 16 at the 92nd St Y (1395 Lexington Ave.) at 7:30 p.m.
