Helene Stapinski Uncovers A Family Murder

Journalist and author Helene Stapinski joins us to discuss her new book Murder In Matera: A True Story of Passion, Family, and Forgiveness in Southern Italy. Stapinski grew up hearing stories about her great-great-grandmother, Vita. The story goes that Vita murdered someone in Southern Italy in the 1800s, and eventually immigrated to America with her family. Stapinksi's book tells the story of her travels to Italy to discover the truth.
