International Contemporary Ensemble Plays World Premieres by the 2025-26 Luna Lab Fellows
at Weill Music Room at Carnegie Hall
June 4, 7PM. FREE with RSVP

Ten years ago, two of America’s leading composers, Ellen Reid and Missy Mazzoli, started the Luna Composition Lab as a way of mentoring and championing the works of emerging women and non-binary composers. Each year, a group of young composers works with more established artists to hone their craft and to get the vital experience of hearing their music played live. This year’s group- Chloe Kirk, Christabelle Kirkham, Anchi Wang-Hall, Andromeda Wen, Faith Wesley, and Madeline Yang- will have their works premiered tonight, alongside works by their mentors, like the Puerto-Rican-born, Brooklyn-based composer Angélica Negrón, Vivian Fung, and Brittany J. Green. The International Contemporary Ensemble plays these new works at Weill Music Room at Carnegie Hall in a free concert on June 4.
