According to the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, more than one-quarter of American adults, about 28 percent, have left the faith in which they were raised in favor of another religion, or no religion at all.
A quarter of millennials say they are not affiliated with any particular religion. To the right you'll find an infographic of the trends reported by Pew.
