Husband Of AME Church Shooting Victim Remembers That Night

The Rev. Anthony Thompson lost his wife, Myra, on the night of June 17, 2015. She was one of nine fatally shot at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Her killer, the self-avowed white supremacist Dylann Roof, was convicted Thursday on 33 counts of federal hate crimes and now awaits sentencing.

Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson spoke with Thompson in February at his home in Charleston.
