How to Explain Inequality to Your Kids
In the first installment of our series about kids and money, we discuss how to explain inequality to kids, who notice a lot more than we think, and how meaningful friendships across class lines can help kids get a sense of how other people live.
Ron Lieber is the "Your Money" columnist for The New York Times and the author of The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous, and Smart About Money(Harper, 2015). He joins us for three weeks this month on three ways to teach children about money.
