House Set To Approve Select Benghazi Investigation

Thursday, May 08, 2014

House Democrats are considering a boycott of the select committee Republicans are expected to convene on the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya.

A vote is expected this afternoon to formally approve the investigation.

Speaker John Boehner vows it will be “all about getting to the truth” of the Obama administration’s response to the attack.

Democrats have likened it to a “kangaroo court,” expressing concerns over the scope and composition of the select committee.
