The Highs And Lows Of 50 Years Of '60 Minutes'

Over its 50-year history, CBS' "60 Minutes" has turned into a respected program known for its engaging, challenging and informative news coverage. In his new book Fifty Years of 60 Minutes: The Inside Story of Television’s Most Influential News Broadcast, Executive Producer Jeff Fager goes behind-the-scenes to show readers how the program is put together, and how correspondents like Charlie Rose, Anderson Cooper and Lesley Stahl get their stories. He also looks at the many iconic moments from the program's history.

Jeff Fager will appear at the 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Ave., between 91st and 92 St.) on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. along with Steve Kroft, Scott Pelley, Lesley Stahl and Bill Whitaker. Charlie Rose will moderate the conversation.
