Currently we have no President in the White House, he's just OCCUPYING the White House and thinks he is KING. With President Hillary Clinton (and Bill Clinton)in the White House, at least the United States of America will have a President once again and will be making decisions for the people in the United States of America.

The reason to not vote for Hilary is that after President Obama she is the most pro-abortion person in politics.

(Once they decide, not caring about women, that non-doctors can perform abortions, it wouldn't suprise me if he performed one, he is so pro-abortion.)

Dear Joe - nice job, the check will be in the mail - Hilary.

('Benghazi was just an outpost of the CIA' - yes, known as an embassy, with an ambassador.

'Embassies get attacked all the time.' Really? Remember what happened when the embassy in Tehran was attacked?

'Ambassador Chris Smith didn't want protection.' Is that why he requested it several times and was denied?

In Lehrer's introduction of Joe Klein, he mistakenly stated that Klein was a former Bill Clinton staffer, to which Klein immediately corrected as inaccurate. That may well be so, but after listening to the interview, it's apparent that Klein was doing an on-air audition for a job with the Clinton 2016 campaign.

The Newt Gingrich "Contract with America" congress and the republican led Senate deregulated banking.

Haven’t you guys heard of he Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (named after the three Republican Senator co-sponsors) also known as the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999. It changed the Glass–Steagall Act that everyone blames Clinton for changing. It was just one example of their handy work during Clintons 2nd term.

The Republicans pressured Clintons signature by attaching welfare and environmental programs etc.

Please remember, Newt Gingrich shut down the government.

The deregulated banking was followed by a anti-oversight S.E.C. run by Christopher Cox (Bush appointed) who promptly disappeared during the meltdown.

Neither Clinton or Rubin wrote laws or controlled the oversight budget. Remember, the meltdown occurred years into the Bush administration.

Admittedly, the Clintons were less effective at repealing the Bill of Rights than Bush II. But most of the Patriot Act had been proposed by the Clinton Administration, and died in Congress.

Stop trying to shove Hillary Clinton down our throats!

Unless you have Hillary scheduled to appear on your show to discuss her new book, you SHOULD NOT air another segment on her until she officially declares her candidacy for President of the United States.

Speculative segments such as this line with Joke Line (aka Joe Klein) are nauseating and stupid.

Ron Brown, lead snowstorm in his brain:

Jun. 05 2014 11:06 AM

Ron Brown, Former Chairman, DNC; Commerce Secretary
died: 5/3/96 - Ron Brown died along with 39 other people when the T-43 (a converted 737 used by the Air Force) carrying the group on a trip to Bosnia crashed while approaching the Dubrovnik airport. On the verge of being indicted and having stated publicly his willingness to make a deal with prosecutors, Ron Brown's death brought to an end his ability to testify.
(NOTE: Also belongs under dead fundraisers)
Oddly for a plane crash, there was a .45 cal hole in his head, and a lead snowstorm in his brain. His body was quickly cremated.

Poor misguided fools! Do you really think ANYONE on the right has your best interest at heart? They don't even KNOW YOU, but I hope you get your wish to have one of 'em back in office. I can't wait to read your comments in 2017. SMDH

Jun. 05 2014 10:38 AM

@CaptainDrG, if what you are saying had the slightest bit of truth, it would be impossible to find Monica now, but she's everywhere. How do you square that?

"Lets not forget that the Clintons stole the furniture and dishes from the White House!! and the silver!!"

You jest but don't forget that 40% of Americans have been convinced of this by the BMN team, Breitbart, Drudge, et alia.

@Brian Lehrer

Too weak? Distracted possibly. Non-strategic? Sure. But weak? Look at all the people killed in our nation's name in the last thirteen years.

Weak. feh...

Jun. 05 2014 10:24 AM

Did Hillary say that she pushed for a stronger deal?

Have Americans always prized the dynastic politics represented by the popularity of the potential "Clinton"-"Bush"-"Cuomo" candidacies?

Jun. 05 2014 10:24 AM

The body count of Clinton Advisers, bodyguards, sex partners, & officials in AK and in DC, is huge. Google it. Here is just one site:

WOW! Did Brian just say about Obama getting elected "Did that work for you?" Did he just dig Obama, knowing that he now has to throw all his weight being Clinton to help her out?

Amazing! I swear I listen to this station every morning because I love the comedy that Brian brings. He is just so transparent it is incredible.

Jun. 05 2014 10:22 AM

If Hilary represents the "Scoop Jackson Democrats" would Mr. Klein address some of Christopher Hitchens' complaints about the Clintons?

Jun. 05 2014 10:21 AM

Before we rewind history completely, why don't we take off the hindsight glasses for a few moments.

On balance, who made poorer choices for Americans and the economy? Clinton/Gore, Bush/Cheney or Obama/Biden?

That answer is easy for me. Will Hillary make the same choices that her husband made - if she is ever in the position to make such choices? -- I hope the hell not. But having Hillary in the seat to make those choices is far superior to any member of the GOP that I could name.

Jun. 05 2014 10:19 AM

It's that very bile she invokes in right-wingers that leads me to believe she might be the only candidate who can fix the impotency problem in the Democratic party right now. The far right Republicans/Tea Baggers' unhinged behavior has slowly drawn the moderate Republican base further right. Moderate Republicans haven't called them out, and Democratic leaders will issue am occasional threat with no action. The Democrats' "high road" strategy isn't working in the current climate.

Lets not forget the death of Ron Brown, in an exploding plane.

But, the right does go nuts with the Clintons, drug smuggling in Arkansas, beds in the back of pickup trucks, etc

But it pales with the Obama theories. Born in Africa!! Muslim!! Negro !!!

Jun. 05 2014 10:18 AM

Susan is the best reason to elected Hillary. That caller was fishin' really hard for loony tunes, and even she had to go back 30! years.

I admire her for what she's done and how she stands up for herself and women, but if she couldn't handle Secretary of State without her health breaking down, how's she going to be President, now that she's four years older? Also, she lost the election for not being on top of things media-wise. And frankly, yes, I do think she's "insufficiently populist" on the banks. Very insufficiently! And lastly, do we really want another dynasty in the White House? Of all the people in the world, why does it have to be another Clinton?

Jun. 05 2014 10:13 AM

It's time to have a female president. Past time.
There is no one more qualified, male or female, to be president than Hillary.
Clinton/Cuomo '16!

Go away

Again, more cutesy posturing by and about Mrs. Clinton.

This political fan dance bores me to tears because I know the big reveal at the end will be a disappointment. After her term as Sec'y of State, she's gone around giving big ticket speeches about "teamwork" and telling us "girls are important."

Spare me.

Jun. 05 2014 10:06 AM

Brian, you think that Joe Klein worked for the Clinton's because he wrote Primary Colors as Anonymous.

Jun. 05 2014 10:05 AM

On the book, as Hillary herself would say – “What difference does it make?”

The real story is that in 960 days, 1 hour and 55 minutes - we will get an American with a sincere affection for this country back in the White House ... and ANY American will do, even Hillary.

Wow -- guess we are not going to have an objective discussion of this book.

Jun. 05 2014 10:04 AM

You should do a show with all of Hillary's maybe can fill 2 minutes.

Susan Rice was not reading CIA talking points, we have moved way past that story.
