The Happiest Man in the Shallow End

Swimming is part of what makes summer so great. But Ramiro Ocasio has stuck to waist-deep water all his life; the 35-year-old from Queens never learned to swim. After finding inspiration during a recent trip to Honduras, Ocasio was determined to step into the deep end. WNYC’s Mirela Iverac spent time with him at his first swim lesson.
