Playwright Donald Margulies was on the Leonard Lopate Show to talk about the revival of Dinner with Friends at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. He also told us how he likes his rice pudding. Find out what else he's a fan of!

What have you read or seen over the past year that moved or surprised you?

         The Great Gatsby

What are you listening to right now?

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis's soundtrack of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. (An unheralded great film)

What's the last great book you read?

The first volume of My Struggle by Karl Ove Knausgaard. I'm one hundred pages into volume two. (There are six in all.)

What's the one thing you're a fan of that people might not expect?

         "The Good Wife"

What's your favorite comfort food?

         Rice pudding (without raisins)
