Guest Picks: Blythe Danner

Tuesday, January 21, 2014

Blythe Danner was on the Leonard Lopate Show recently, along with her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. They play mother and daughter in "The Commons of Pensacola." She also told us what she's been reading and what she listens to every day.

What have you read or seen over the past year (book, play, film, etc…) that moved or surprised you?

            Wolf Hall – Hilary Mantel

What are you listening to right now?

Bill Evans, as I do every day.  He was a friend + the best jazz pianist ever.

What’s the last great book you read?

            The Goldfinch – Donna Tartt

What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

What’s your favorite comfort food?

             Lamb chops + mashed potatoes
