Emily Fridlund joins us to discuss her debut novel, History of Wolves. It tells the story of Linda, a 14-year-old girl living on a nearly abandoned commune in the Minnesota woods. Her life takes unexpected turns when one of her teachers is accused of owning child porn, and she develops feelings for a new girl named Lily. The novel has won the McGinnis-Ritchie award for its first chapter.
