Another day, another leak?

Yesterday, the Department of Justice announced charges against a 25-year-old government contractor named Reality Leigh Winner for leaking classified information. Officials say she gave a top-secret National Security Agency document to The Intercept.

The document posted on The Intercept's website is a redacted version of a U.S. intelligence report that details the Kremlin's efforts to use hacking techniques during the 2016 presidential election.

James Bamford, the author of three books about the NSA and a columnist for Foreign Policy Magazine, and Scott Shane, a reporter for our partners at The New York Times, explain what the documents tell us, and what we can expect going forward.
