It takes something extra to thrive in New York City, especially if you are a plant! That’s why the Parks Department has it's onw 13 acre nursery on Staten Island called The Greenbelt Native Plant Center, dedicated to growing flowers and trees that are specifically adapted to the 5 boroughs.
