He’s played with everyone from Allen Toussaint, Billy Gibbons, Judy Collins, afro-funk stars Antibalas, and the Ethiopian keyboardist Hailu Mergia. Now, Nikhil P. Yerawadekar is striking out on his own. The new record with his band Low Mentality is called Everything Lasts Forever, and sounds, well, like you would it expect it to, if you put all those people mentioned above and put 'em in a blender.
