One of the great things about the NY music scene is that you can find lots of great music, played live, for free. That is, if you know where to look. Between now and January 14, look at Paul Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, presented by the world-famous Juilliard school. Each evening and some afternoons, some of the young talented musicians from Juilliard strut their stuff on stage. Tonight, it’s French composer Olivier Messiaen’s dark and ecstatic masterpiece, the Quartet for the End of Time, and Mozart’s majestic Clarinet Quintet.
Chamberfest runs all this week, courtesy of the Juilliard School.
