Libertarian Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson has a reputation for being a genial guy with a taste for marijuana — preferably the chewable kind.
The former governor of New Mexico says he's coming to crash the 2016 election. He's hoping to sway voters who aren't happy with Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton with his plans for making the government smaller and more efficient by eliminating the IRS, reducing military might, and appealing to the Libertarian leanings that he believes everybody has a little bit of.
Johnson needs 15 percent of the public's support to make it on the debate stage with Clinton and Trump this fall, and he could be an important factor in the upcoming election, especially as voters look for new options and a new path for the nation.
