Gail Simmons takes us behind the scenes of "Top Chef," where she’s been a judge since the show’s inception in 2006. She joined Food & Wine in 2004 and directs special projects for the magazine, working closely with the country’s top culinary talent. Prior to Food & Wine, Simmons was the special events manager for Chef Daniel Boulud’s restaurants, has contributed to several books and cookbooks, and is the author of the memoir Talking With My Mouth Full.
