Former Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen argues that it's time to restore U.S. power and leadership in the world, something that has been lost over the past eight years.

Rasmussen, the former prime minister of Denmark, says NATO has been unfairly bashed in the 2016 election, and that we can no longer take a backseat on the world stage.

In his new book, "The Will to Lead — America’s Indispensable Role in the Global Fight For Freedom," Rasmussen argues that the U.S. is still the world's 5,000 pound gorilla, and has a number of global responsibilities, whether we like it or not.
