The next president will inherit a wide range of foreign policy challenges, including the chaos in the Middle East, Russia’s role in that region and a rising China. While President Barack Obama’s foreign policy has been marked by restraint, many analysts are anticipating a more aggressive stance in the next administration, especially if Hillary Clinton wins the election.
