President-elect Donald Trump kisses his wife Melania Trump as his daughter Ivanka Trump watches after giving his acceptance speech during his election night rally, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, in New York

In the weeks since the election, Melania Trump has taken a backseat within the Trump family. It's been announced that she will stay in New York so that 10-year-old Barron can finish out his school year, and the only other news surrounding her has been a slew of fashion designers saying they will refuse to dress her, with a handful of others coming out to say the opposite.

35-year-old Ivanka Trump on the other hand has asserted herself into the limelight of her father's presidency. She has attended meetings with political advisers, foreign leaders including Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and real estate developers.
