Fed Poised To Raise Rates For 2nd Time In 10 Years

Update 12/14: After the Fed announced Wednesday afternoon that it will raise short-term interest rates by a quarter percent, we heard reaction from Ann Owen, professor of economics at Hamilton College and former economist for the U.S. Federal Reserve’s board of governors.

Economists predict the Federal Reserve will raise short-term interest rates Wednesday for just the second time since 2006.
