Hundreds of fake mobile apps have appeared in Apple’s app store over the last few weeks, some pretending to be from stores like Nordstrom, Foot Locker, Zappos and more.

Many have been made by Chinese developers, and can put consumers’ credit card information at risk.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young speaks with Recode’s Ina Fried about what consumers can do to protect themselves, and what Apple is doing to stop the apps from getting out there.
