Matthew Cole, a reporter for The Intercept, joins us to discuss his recent piece, “The Crimes of Seal Team Six.” He investigated the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, SEAL Team 6, which today is the most celebrated of the U.S. military’s special mission units. He reveals the troubling story of “revenge ops,” unjustified killings, mutilations and other atrocities that emerged soon after the Afghan War began and were tolerated and covered up by officials.
