The Evolution of Baby Food

Amy Bentley, associate professor of food studies and food historian at NYU Steinhardt and now the author of Inventing Baby Food: Taste, Health, and the Industrialization of the American Diet, traces the evolution of baby food, from the invention of canned baby food in the early 1900's to today's organic pouches. She explains how this food affects the health of American babies and the diet and nutrition of the adults they become.
