The Enduring Legacy of Alfred Hitchcock and François Truffaut

New York Film Festival director Kent Jones talks about the legacy of Alfred Hitchcock, as well as Hitcock's 1962 dialogues with Francoise Truffaut. "Hitchcock/Truffaut," the film he directed and co-wrote with Martin Scorsese, features interviews with directors influenced by the legendary filmmaker, including David Fincher, Richard Linklater, and Wes Anderson.  

The film opens on Wednesday, December 2nd at Film Forum and Lincoln Plaza Cinemas.

EVENTS: Kent Jones will be in person at the Wednesday, December 2nd, 8:00 P.M. show, the Friday, December 4th, 8:00 P.M. show, and the Saturday, December 5, 4:15 P.M. show at Film Forum, 209 W Houston Street.

Actress, producer, director, author, and TV host Illeana Douglas will be interviewed onstage by Kent Jones in a special afternoon of conversation and film clips at Film Forum on Sunday, December 6th at 2:30 P.M.
