Derek Willis, News Applications Developer at ProPublica, and John Keefe, senior editor for Data News at WNYC, have joined forces with Google News Lab and a coalition of other news outlets to create “Electionland.” In real time, “Electionland” alerts reporters of any issues that voters encounter at their polling places such as long lines, malfunctioning machines, and dropped names from voter rolls.
