Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced a budget deal late Thursday night.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo took to Long Island to campaign for fellow Democrats in state elections, which he rarely does. He's often been criticized by members of his own party for his reluctance to stump for fellow Democrats. But New York Daily News Albany Bureau Chief Ken Lovett told WNYC All Things Considered host JAmi Floyd that Cuomo may be looking ahead to his own upcoming campaign for re-election in 2018.
