DJ for A Day: Stacy Sullivan

Airs Saturday at 4PM on The Jonathan Channel and reairs; April 20th at 10AM & April 22nd at 7PM

Tuesday, April 22, 2014

Winner of the 2014 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Female Vocalist, Stacy Sullivan, is a favorite of Jonathan Schwartz and can regularly be heard on The Jonathan Channel. April is Jazz Appreciation Month and we continue our celebration with Stacy Sullivan. We recently invited Mrs. Sullivan in to the studio to be a DJ for a day.  Join us tonight at 7PM, for an hour of great jazz hosted by Stacy Sullivan.

A commanding performer, Stacy Sullivan's current project is a tribute to the legendary Peggy Lee. Sullivan has devoted herself to the role and Stephen Holden of The New York Times raves, "Miss Sullivan..can swing..and makes you feel the howling loneliness of a star in a gilded cocoon."

We could not be more pleased to welcome vocalist Stacy Sullivan into the studio to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month.
