It tells the inside story of the division and polarization in Washington that frustrated the Obama presidency and laid the groundwork for the election of Trump, a self-proclaimed outsider.

"Divided States of America" airs Tuesday, January 17th and Wednesday, January 18th at 9 p.m. on PBS.
