Derrick H. Pitts is Chief Astronomer at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, and he will be talking about the Mars rover, black holes, and the state of the universe. As NASA Solar System Ambassador, Dr. Pitts develops and oversees all of The Franklin Institute’s astronomy and space science-related programs and exhibits and runs the observatory.
