David Bromberg Performs Live

Monday, September 30, 2013

David Bromberg performs live in our studio. He’s a master of American vernacular music as a guitarist and vocalist, fluid in country blues and Dixieland, bluegrass and fingerpicking folk. His new album, “Only Slightly Mad,” shows the full range of his Americana roots.

But why isn't the audio working? Tuesday's works, Wednesday's works, but Monday's doesn't.

I remember David Bromberg from my college days. I was a big fan and would love to hear about what he is doing today. Is there any way I would be able to hear this show? Usually there is an audio with these posts; will one be coming up?

David Bromberg's talking about love songs on the show right now. In the '70s I had a David Bromberg album on which he sang a beautiful song with a female character who'd been scarred by injury or a burn. The lyrics are sung by a narrator who loved her. A great song.
