From Data to Door-Knocking: How Our Political Campaign is Faring

The Brian Lehrer Show | Oct 23, 2014

A check-in on our Just Vote Already campaign, where we're taking the tips and tricks of political reporters (including robocalls) and using them to target people who haven't voted in a while.

After learning from the pros, our fake candidate, Brian Lehrer Show producer Jody Avirgan, went to the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx to talk to some of the voters we've been targeting. He reports on what he found. WNYC's Brigid Bergin also visited the neighborhood and filed a story this morning. And Jenny Ye of the Data News team talks about some of the numbers we've been crunching -- and why it's so hard to get reliable data on voters.
