Mike Sacks interviewed comedians and comedy writers to find out how they work, what can go wrong, and the joys of a successful show for his book Poking a Dead Frog: Conversations with Today’s Top Comedy Writers. He’s joined by comedy writers Adam Resnick and Will Tracy, who try to explain the mysterious world of comedy and share stories of what goes on in the writers’ rooms at The Onion, Saturday Night Live, and late night shows.
