Filmmaker Matthew Heineman joins us to discuss his new film “City of Ghosts” , along with Syrian journalist and activist Abdalaziz Alhamza. Heineman offers an up-close look at the citizen journalists of Raqqa, Syria in the group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, which was recently honored by the Committee to Protect Journalists. The film reveals exactly how much Syrian journalists have risked and lost and why they keep doing their work.
