Christie's Tax Plans Divide New Jersey Lawmakers

There's been a lot of news out of New Jersey on taxing and spending this week. The legislature and Gov. Chris Christie continue to fight about the Transportation Trust Fund, which provides money for roads, bridges and the beleaguered NJ Transit. And now, Christie is proposing to divide public school funding in a new way — he says it's more fair, but not everyone agrees.

Gordon MacInnes, the president of the left-leaning New Jersey Policy Perspective, and Matt Rooney, a conservative who writes the Save Jersey blog, spoke to WNYC’s Jami Floyd.
